  • Security and reliability are central to our approach, which is why we take every step to guarantee that:

    • All Sitters operate with valid Working With Children’s Checks

    • High rank sitters are qualified in first aid and anaphylaxis and CPR certificates

    • All sitters and Coaches have experience with Babysitting/coaching with Helpinghands and externally. Sitters are trained to a high standard and are aware of the Helpinghands expectations whilst caring for your children

    • All employees of Helpinghands have been screened and interviewed to ensure the quality of our sitters

    • Rates range from $25 - $35 depending on the sitters qualifications and abilities. However the going rate is $30 an hour.

    • Sitters set their own rates, which are stated in their profiles!

    • Booking fees vary, and only apply to non subscription accounts

    • Our sitter are locally sourced mostly through word of mouth

    • Our sitters are all screened and interviewed by the Helpinghands admin team

    • Some sitters are sourced through our unique connection with a few local private schools

Casual babysitting Hotline Subscription

At helpinghands, we have your family’s best interests at heart! We know booking fees add up, which is why we are introducing the Hotline subscription!

  • For only $100 a month

  • Unlimited bookings with no excess charges

  • No late booking fee

  • Priority bookings with your favourite sitters

  • Exclusive access to our Helping Portal - usually only available for those using our Nannying Service

  • Replacement insurance in the event of sitter cancellation

  • No additional charges that may be present for non subscriber bookings! (conditions apply)

  • Subscription can be cancelled anytime by emailing Helpinghandsreception@mail.com

Casual Babysitting Hotline - Booking Fees

Need a once off sitter or don’t see the point in another subscription? We still have your back! Our booking fees are industry competitive and still provide security for your family. Our sitters know not to take jobs behind our backs, but we ask not to contact our sitters directly.

  • $25 booking fee (charged at the time of booking)

  • $15 late fee applies if booking is required within 24 hours (bringing the total booking fee to $40)

  • $40 booking fee for out of town bookings (unless sitter is within 25km away)

  • All the above fees are waived with the helpinghands hotline subscription!

Kick to Kick Program - Booking Fees

Here at helpinghands, our founder is passionate about busy brained kids and understands that some kids need for extra support to achieve their goals. That is why the Kick to kick program was born!

  • $60 for a 90 minute session with one of our experienced coaches

  • Coaches have AFL knowledge to give your child tips and tricks

  • Additional children from the same family cost an additional $30

  • The goal of these sessions is for your child to lose that extra energy and learn a few footy tips along the way!

Nannying services 

Our famous Nannying service is unique to each families needs and requirements. This service acts similarly to a rental agreement. We provide the nanny and the resources for fun!

  • Our Nannies set their own rates

  • Searchers fee of $75

  • ongoing subscription of $125 per month

  • replacement sitters provided in the event your nanny is unavailable at no extra cost. (see terms and conditions)
